ProhibWalther Ppk Serial Numbers Rzm

As i am in the process of buying a post-war Walther. Magazine is for a post WW2 Walther.380, PP or PPK. Of serial numbers for Walther PP's. New member looking for some help in identification of a Walther PPK.32 auto.I've hit a ton of websites trying to identify this pistol, and while I've found a lot of info. Skip to content. After this s/n change, the PP model usually had a P after the serial number, while the PPK usually had a K. Other PPK letters exist, like W and A. Examine the number 4 carefully to make sure it is a number, not a letter. The RZM marking stands for Reichzeugmeisterei, which was the purchasing agency of the Nazi Party.

Walther Ppk Serial Number Dates

The condition is exceptional with 96% of the blue remaining; almost Like New! The pistol is fully functioning, the serial numbers match, and the bore is great. Made by Carl Walther Waffenfabrik of Zella-Mehlis, Thüringen, this is a very uncommon and highly desirable example of a 7.65mm PPK pocket pistol purchased by the NSDAP for issue to key party members. The official RZM logo denotes that the pistol was approved by the party quartermaster/procurement office (Reichszeugmeisterei), based in Munich. Walther supplied 31,000 PPK pistols to the NSDAP in 1934 – 1936; based on the serial number, this pistol was made in 1934. Includes the original brown holster and a spare magazine; the holster is marked with “D.R.G.M.,” “Walther PPK,” and with a logo for maker AKAH.
